All the black opal used in these earrings comes from Mintabie in South Australia. The bulk of the black opal came from the Old Field or from the Crystal Valley field. Mineshaft has a skilled Goldsmith who has been setting the best of our opal for many years now. the earrings are mainly set in 18 carat gold.
