These pendants are set with Gem quality Opal Doublets (except for the last one which is a triplet). The doublets were cut by Peter from opal he mined with his partners over the 12 years he mined at Mintabie in South Australia. A doublet is a slice of opal cemented on to a blackened back. Peter normally uses slices of boulder as his preferred backing. Most of the doublets are high domed doublets and have a fabulous play of colour. All are set in 14 carat Gold. (Chains are not included)
