Unusual large Mintabie black opal

This Mintabie black opal weighs 24 carats. It measures 38mm x 16mm so is quite large. The pattern is quite unusual and has a lot of red on a blue green base. The price is A$3,500

Giant Mintabie black opal with large matching pair

This is a giant black opal from Mintabie opal fields. It weighs a massive 181 carats and measures 80 mm x 40mm x 7mm. The back has been left rough. The price is open to offer and a serious offer will be considered. This is the biggest single black opal from our Watertank claim.

The matching pair was cut from the next piece of black opal rough in the pocket. They weigh a total of 12.1 carats and measure 17mm x 12mm. The price for the pair is A$3,500 Click on the image for more detail. Click again for even closed view.

This is a large freeform black opal from Lightning Ridge. It weighs 17.5 carats and measures 26mm x 22mm x 10mm. The price is only A$525 and would make a unique pendant
