This Mintabie black opal weighs 24 carats. It measures 38mm x 16mm so is quite large. The pattern is quite unusual and has a lot of red on a blue green base. The price is A$3,500

Seam Mintabie semi-black Opal specimen

A nice specimen of Mintabie semi-black seam opal. This pices comes from a claim I had at Goose's in Mintabie Opal field. The specimen measures  80 mm x 60 mm x 30 mm and weighs 126 grams. The price is A$200 plus postage.
