Gemstone jewellery carvings (All hand carved by our own master carvers). These carvings are aimed at jewellers looking for that special individual piece or for the customer who would like to provide their jeweller with somthing unique and special to work with. There are also some finished exquisitely unique pieces of jewellery made by our talented goldsmiths.

This project has been a labour of love because we could not get the quality of carving we needed for our business. My friend Terry and I had for years talked about this missing link in the market. In desperation we decided to find the best and most talented carvers ( carvers with mainly wood carving experience) available in Bali and provide them with the tools and knowledge to produce the quality and style of gemstone jewellery carving we needed. This also required the participation of our Bali jewellery manufacturer so we could have space in his factory and his expertise to find the right people for this ambitious project.  It has required the carvers to use totally different tools and techniques and their ability to adapt has been a real credit to them.

 Each gemstone carving can take anywhere from 7 to 20 hours to produce, depending on the detail, hardness of the material and the artistic presentation. They are all ‘works of art’ and our aim in Bali is to produce these art pieces and develop a skill level that is second to none. We  started this project in 2012 and it has taken many months and hard work to reach our goals and it will continue to evolve. We are really proud of the quality and originality our team is producing and are now ready to offer these special carvings. Of course with the time taken to produce them, production will always be limited. Gemstone jewellery carving….JASPER LADY. This piece is incredably carved from a single piece of Jasper. It makes the most out of the contrast. The carving weighs 36 carats and is priced at A$70

 Gemstone jewellery carving…CITRINE LADY. This carving uses facetting quality Citrine and weighs 27 carats. The price is $90.

Gemstone jewellery carving…LAPIS LADY. This carving has been carved out of high quality Lapis. The carving weighs  30.5 carats and is priced at A$70 .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Gemstone jewellery carving…TORTURED FACES. This carving has been made in really hard Australian Mookaite. It weighs 38 carats and is priced at A$80

 

 

Gemstone jewellery carving…BLACK OPAL ELEPHANT. This carving has been done in a black opal nobby. It is a giant 48.8 carats and is priced at A$800.

 

Gemstone Jewellery carving…..JASPER LION. This piece has been carved from a single piece of jasper. It weighs 21.6 carats and is priced at A$70.
